Well, Tool #1 is under my belt! I am sort of a procrastinator and reason why I invited a friend to get together with me to get started on this new SBISD initiative of 21st Century Learning. Although my colleague and I did not get together face to face, it worked over the phone! I am feeling a little relieved that I will be able to help my students get this far!
Step 1, create a google account. REMEMBER to write down the user name and passwords...ALWAYS.
Step 2, create a blogger.com account.
Such is life, follow directions, pay attention and when in doubt, hit the back button when working with computers.
I say this as this process was cumbersome in going back to my 11 tools page to follow directions and then return to the google account of blogger.com site.

You accomplished one of the biggest issues when working in the 2.0 world...staying with something until you figure it out! With that attitude, you will have much success!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! A tip that might help when navigating between the 11 tools page and your blog: open up a new browser tab. Keep the 11 tools page on the first tab, and your blog on the second one. You can have a third tab open for exploring the "tool of the moment." This is what I do!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your help!
ReplyDeleteI have Tool 1 under my belt too! I think!(And hopefully Tool 2, too! See I have so many questions and want to pick up the phone to call and talk to "warm" body. I need a Tech support person I can call on!
ReplyDeleteHey, girl! You are doing great! My adventure with the 11 tools is not going so well- it has to get better! This is my fourth time to post this comment! I had the same problem as you with having to navigate between different web sites. Best of luck, and I like the name of you blog!
